Happy Valentine’s Day Photo DIY!

Hey guys! Ok! So I took the pictures! Santino had just got out of day care. I played with him for a little, and gave him a snack. Dante woke up from his 2nd nap of the day which meant getting to business! The first thing was making sure the garland hearts I had put up the night before were not falling down. I used double sided tape to secure it to our “back yard door” aka the backdrop.

The Love balloon I ordered from Amazon was super easy to blow up. I used an air tank, but you can also blow it yourself with the straw that comes in the pack of 2 balloons. To secure it to your wall you should use double sided tape. I would make sure to set the display in advance so that you can focus on taking cute pictures!

I needed a table for the boys, I found this one on Amazon for a great price. It is made by Delta Children, which I know makes reliable furniture. My mom got the boys their own heirloom mailboxes for Valentine’s Day from Pottery Barn. I can’t wait to see how they will use them as they get older, maybe even bringing them to school for Valentine’s Day!

I also needed a few extra props to use on top of the table so I used Happy Valentine’s Day, Curious George, Love from the Very Hungry Caterpillar, heart candy, and Valentine’s Day cards. The books are also great to get into the spirit of Valentines Day and to teach Santino all about the special day.

Thankfully my mom was able to come over and help with outfit changes and hand support for Dante in his chair! 🐛🥺❤️
