Hello again! This is definitely a back post, but I just started the blog and I’ve always wanted to share my nursery journey! This nursery came after falling in love with Instagram queen Melissa Molinaro’s nursery for her daughter London. I had no clue of what I needed to get or what design I wanted for his nursery . I knew she had great style and did everything so beautiful for her daughters room.
The one thing I did not have was an interior designer, which she did have! I pinned her to my interest board and started with the crib! I found a similar crib from Pottery Barn that was purchased for our baby shower along with a dresser and changing table. I saw she was using a Snoo, and I decided to register for that too!
I honestly had no clue of what I liked so fortunately she gave me the most inspiration! The Snoo is amazing for providing extra sleep time for baby. The one thing I found difficult while using the Snoo was having to wake them up for feeds, especially Santino since he breastfed.
Little by little things came into his room from Pottery Barn, Home Goods, Amazon, Target, Snoo, Etsy and more! I even found the same bassinet she used, which we still have and used for Dante. The Rose Gold bassinet was more for my living room and the Snoo for our bedroom to have near me.
The bassinet was something I wanted not only for having the baby near me during the day but also to take photos! I loved the aesthetic of the bassinet, I feel bassinets are not as beautiful as they used to be, and it gave me more of that old school nursery/baby carriage/bassinet vibe.
