Hey girl heyyy, ughh winter nails have always been a tough decision for me. If you follow me on Instagram you have probably seen some of my favs this end of 2024 beginning of 2025 season. What I have been seeing is a more simple yet snazzy looking nail if that makes any sense. One solid color look across the nails is so great, with something like a cat eye polish or chrome. I have done cat eye twice so far and I absolutely love it.

A lot of the more popular colors this season like chocolate brown, olive green, pale blue, and the ever so popular burgundy wine/maroon color from Fall 2024 are perfect for base colors. Now that winter is here more colors are on the rise so don’t be afraid of adding golds, brighter greens, mixed pinks with orange, deeper blue/navyish, and teal.

I typically go for a pointy almond shape and slightly longer nail. If you do want a design on your nail you should make sure to have the longest nail that you possibly can, and then ask not to cut down but file to the sized nail that you prefer. As far as designs go I have added bows, magnetic shapes with cat eye polishes, animal print, French manicure (the smile curved shape one) and my favorite a cute starburst star. I have yet to try the 3D nail designs but look so pretty in pictures online.

My biggest suggestion is to have fun and get creative, find some designs on Pinterest, or from a design that you’ve seen on clothing, bags, sweatshirts, whatever! I love looking at the newest prints in fashion and coming up with something from there, then obviously bringing it to my nail designer and seeing what she thinks! ✨🎀 #nails #naildesigns
